DevOps Engineer

About the Role 

Xtec Global is on the hunt for a certified and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing tech team. If you’re someone who thrives on building scalable cloud systems, loves automation, and is passionate about delivering secure, high-performing infrastructure — we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do 

•  Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure — EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, and Cloud Watch 

•  Deploy and manage Docker containers using Kubernetes (EKS preferred) 

•  Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD 

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Cloud Formation 

•  Monitor system health with Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud Watch 

•  Ensure cloud security compliance, access control, and encryption best practices 

•  Manage and optimize Percona MySQL databases, backups, and performance 

•  Write automation scripts (Bash, Shell, or Python) to streamline system tasks 

•  Participate in disaster recovery planning and high-availability solutions 

•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile and fast-paced environment 

What We’re Looking For 

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles 

• Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and automation scripting 

• Deep understanding of cloud security, cost optimization, and infrastructure scaling 

• Experience with Percona MySQL, S3, and RDS administration 

•  Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.) 

Preferred Certifications 

•  AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate / Professional) 

•  Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) 

•  Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) or RHCE 

•  DevOps Foundation or similar certifications
